The Nature of our Products

All of our products are handmade by artisans and craftsmen in workshops — they are not mass produced on assembly lines in industrial factories. We use the finest quality raw materials.

The measurements given for products are approximate and will vary. Little defects and imperfections are normal and form part of the rustic charm of each unique piece. Please understand that variations in color, shape and size due to the artisanal nature of these products should be expected (and appreciated).

Prices

All of the prices listed with our products are stated in United States Dollars and do not include any taxes or shipping expenses.

Your purchase from outside Mexico will not be subject to Mexico's Value Added Tax (IVA). We will not charge or collect any tax from any foreign countries. If a customer is subject to a tax from their country on their purchase, they alone will be responsible for payment of that tax. Taxes are usually assessed by the customs agency of the customer's country and the recipient will be responsible for any customs duties or taxes.

All prices listed are subject to modification at any time.

Shipping

Due to the artisanal nature of our products, orders will arrive to their destination in approximately 30 to 60 days, depending on the destination country. Orders shipping to the United States or Canada arrive in approximately 30 days, and those shipping to Europe arrive in approximately 60 days. In any event, we will keep you informed of the progress of your order. We work with you to select the best shipping option for your order.

Placing an Order, Minimum Order, Payment Method

When you've had a chance to look through our products, please get in touch with us by phone or email.

We only sell to wholesale customers. Initial orders must be $1,000 USD minimum (excluding shipping expenses), but after that first order customers may order any amount they like.

Payments are made by bank wire transfer to an account we maintain in the United States. Account details will be provided in an email confirming your order. The prices in the order confirmation will be honored for 14 calendar days from the time of the confirmation so payment must be made within that time frame.

It is very important that the bank wire transfer references the order number and your first and last name(s) or company name. Once the wire transfer is made, please email us a copy of the receipt at contact@mexicanforge.com and we will confirm the transfer with our bank.

Prices are listed in US Dollars and all wire transfers are to be effectuated in US Dollars as well. Any currency exchange rate issues and wire transfer expenses are the sole responsibility of the transferor.

Returns

We are a family business and try to show our customers our appreciation by providing the best service we can. Please feel free to reach out to us with suggestions or complaints if we are not living up to our standards.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your merchandise, you have 7 calendar days from the date of delivery to advise us. Just let us know by phone or email within those 7 days and make sure everything gets perfectly re-packed in the original packaging. The merchandise must return to us in perfect condition for us to issue a refund or exchange.

If the reason for the return is that you received damaged merchandise, please email us photos of the damage.

Once we receive the returned merchandise and confirm that it is in perfect condition (or the documented condition if you received it damaged) in its original packaging, then we will proceed with an exchange of product or refund of payment by wire transfer — whichever you specify.
